Buhari’s Nephew Spends Second Night In EFCC Net Over Alleged N8bn Fraud
Hadi Sirika, the former Minister of Aviation and nephew to ex President Muhammadu Buhari, has spent his second night in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an ongoing N8,069,176,864.00 money laundering probe.
GWG.ng earlier reported that Sirika was arrested and appeared at the EFCC’s Federal Capital Territory Command around 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
The Former minister of aviation is currently being interrogated by EFCC investigators regarding alleged fraudulent contracts he authorized for a company called Engirios Nigeria Limited, which is owned by his younger sibling, Abubakar Sirika.
Top EFCC sources privy to the interrogation who spoke on the grounds of anonimity, confirmed that the EFCC interrogators quizzed Mr Sirika over the failed Nigeria Air project that has sparked controversies across the country.
