Deputy Reps Speaker Kalu Calls For Low-Key Birthday

As Nigeria grapples with various challenges, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has made a heartfelt appeal to his friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to mark his upcoming birthday with restraint and humility.

In a statement, Kalu requested that his birthday on Sunday, May 5, 2024, be celebrated quietly, devoid of elaborate gestures, advertorials, and extravagant displays. Instead, he encouraged visits to orphanages and activities focused on empathy, introspection, and humanitarian causes.
