Storm Over Alleged Plot To Arrest Peter Obi
In a bombshell claim, maverick singer Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has stirred controversy by alleging that the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is plotting to apprehend Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
This purported move, fueled by Obi’s relentless criticism of the administration, has ignited a firestorm of debate, with emotions running high and opinions sharply divided.
The revelation has set off a powder keg of heated discussions, with many expressing outrage at the perceived injustice of targeting Obi for his dissent. However, amidst the uproar, some skeptics questioned the validity of the claims, casting doubt on the potential consequences of Obi’s arrest.
As tensions simmer, the comment section has become a battleground, with supporters rallying behind Obi while others await the unfolding drama with bated breath.
Charly Boy, issuing a stern warning, predicts unprecedented resistance should the government follow through with its alleged plans to detain Obi. Urging caution, he cautions against igniting unrest with what he deems a “blatantly illegal” arrest.
In a scathing post on his X handle, Charly Boy declares: “There’s a report of an attempt of arrest on Peter Obi, by Tinubu’s Government over Peter Obi’s consistent refusal to back down on calling Tinubu out towards good governance and accountability. Any arrest or charges against Obi must be met with a resistance as never seen in the history of Nigeria before, and the Obidients are ready for it. Tinubu’s government must trend with caution not to set this nation on fire with an illegal arrest of HE Peter Obi. We call on Tinubu’s government to desist from her evil plans against Peter Obi because Nigeria will not remain the same.”

@nothindome: 😂 it would be a waste of time and resources to arrest Peter Obi. If he breaks any law or intends to and he’s found guilty. He’ll arrested, and prosecuted. Heaven will not fall.
@pioneerjoshua8: I just pray for them to arrest him. I wan check something.
@XpaceReporter: Obi is not at fault in any way. He is being too kind in his role as the opposition. Any attempt by the government to silence him will only lead to more resistance against the illegitimate government. They are aware of the consequences of going against Obi and are currently observing the situation to see if the public will continue to remain passive. The government is mindful of their illegitimacy, so they fear Obi’s influence. We must follow in Obi’s footsteps and become more vocal against the government.
@mroweezy: Papa go and rest joor.
If Obi pass his boundary , Obi himself knows he will be arrested and nothing will happen .
Ur children will remain abroad , u might ride and shout with ur okada people and then go home .

@jayeobajaye: They should arrest him and see what will happen
They should just remember he is the reason why we are not flooding the street
@ExquisiteDemola: Obi is a mere social media influencer, the people in government aren’t aware of the existence of the Agulu Fraud.
@TechiePolitical: I actually hope they arrest him. Dem go shock.
@ambitiousGunner: Stop lying, @peterobi hasn’t overstepped his boundaries to warrant an arrest. If he were to overstep his boundaries like the terrorist Kanu did, he would be arrested, and heaven would not fall.
@anuforo: This Tinubu’s government is daring Nigerians… They must not cross that red tape.. Peter Obi is like “Coild Snake at the door post, yours killing cry”. — Wole Soyinka (Abiku) African Prose
@cevizor: I hope this is not true. I believe the Tinubu government is not that reckless.
