A courageous young woman, Similoluwa, has come forward with a harrowing account of sexual assault by her former secondary school teacher, Uncle Niyi from Tees Secondary School in Ijebu Ode.

In a powerful post on social media, Similoluwa shared her traumatic experience, detailing how Uncle Niyi exploited her vulnerability at just 12 years old, shortly after she had lost her father.

Similoluwa recounted how Uncle Niyi, whom her mother trusted, locked her alone in the computer room and inappropriately touched her. She bravely shared disturbing details of the assault, including how he “adjusted her bra” and forcefully kissed her, justifying his actions by saying he wanted the “strawberry sweet” from her mouth.
