Controversial Female Musician Arrested For Allegedly Stalking Benin Crown Prince

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has been arrested and faces legal action for cyber stalking and defamation against the Crown Prince of Benin, Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare.

According to a lawsuit filed by the Prince’s legal team, Morgan has been persistently trying to contact the Prince and has been publishing false and defamatory statements about him on social media since 2020.

The lawsuit alleges that Morgan’s actions are motivated by her frustration at being unable to meet the Prince, despite her repeated attempts. Instead of engaging with her online, the Crown Prince chose to take legal action, warning her to cease and desist from defaming him. However, Morgan ignored these warnings and continued to make harmful statements.

In a bizarre turn of events, Morgan even attempted to contact the Prince on May 3rd, 2024, making statements that suggested she was suffering from mental health issues and delusions. This incident is the latest in a series of public accusations made by Morgan against the Crown Prince, including allegations of bewitchment and physical assault in November 2023.

The Crown Prince responded to these allegations on social media, announcing his intention to take legal action against Morgan. Morgan reacted by reaffirming her stance and sharing images of herself and the Prince from 2018.

This case highlights the seriousness of cyber stalking and defamation, and the consequences of using social media to spread harmful and false information. As the legal proceedings unfold, it remains to be seen how the court will rule on this matter.
