Idahosa returns to APC from PDP

Charles Idahosa, a former member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and once an ally of Governor Godwin Obaseki, has returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressing regret for not supporting the outgoing governor’s readiness to resign at the height of the crisis with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in 2022.

He cited his desire to ensure victory for the APC in the September 21 governorship election as his reason for rejoining the APC.

Idahosa made this announcement at his residence, where he was welcomed by party leaders, headed by Lawrence Okah, the Secretary of the APC in Edo State.

Reflecting on his time in the PDP, he expressed regret over not supporting Obaseki’s desire to resign as Edo Governor when the latter confided in him about his frustrations with the party’s leadership, particularly under Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
