Wike Mum As Fubara Commences Probe Of Former Administration
In a significant development, the Governor Siminilayi Fubara-led administration in Rivers State has announced plans to establish a panel of enquiry to probe the activities of the previous administration led by former Governor Nyesom Wike. This decision was made public by Governor Sim Fubara during the swearing-in ceremony of Hon. Dagogo Iboroma as the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
Governor Fubara charged the newly appointed Commissioner to prepare for the task ahead, which includes overseeing the setup of the panel of enquiry. The panel will investigate the activities of the state government during Wike’s 8-year tenure, which ended in 2023.
