Cubana Chief Priest Announces Plans To Become A Catholic Priest

Nigerian socialite and businessman Cubana Chiefpriest, a close friend of singer Davido, has revealed his intention to become a Catholic Priest. In an Instagram story, he shared his childhood dream of becoming a priest, inspired by his late mother who took him to the blessed sacrament.

He disclosed that he was admitted to a seminary school but couldn’t complete his studies, citing the phrase “many are called, but few are chosen.” Despite this, he believes his sacraments were not in vain, as he has been blessed beyond imagination.

Cubana Chief Priest expressed his pain at losing his mother, who introduced him to Mother Mary, and announced his plans to return to his Catholic roots. He acknowledged straying from his faith and failing to teach his children, but now seeks to refortify his family and himself in the face of adversity.

GWG ng reports that this announcement follows similar stories of public figures returning to their faith, such as actor Yul Edochie, who launched an online ministry, and singer Cynthia Morgan, who left music to become a prophet.

GWG.ng further reports that the move towards becoming a Catholic priest comes after Cubana Chiefpriest was recently arraigned in court over allegations of trampling on the naira.
