Teebillz Faces Backlash For Praising Diddy Amid Abuse Allegations

Teebillz, the former husband of Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, has faced backlash from online users after posting an emotional message on Instagram directed towards American music mogul, Diddy.

The backlash ensued following the emergence of a video depicting Diddy engaging in physical abuse towards his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel lobby.

This video, obtained and broadcast by CNN, presented substantial evidence for potential legal charges against Diddy, which could result in a significant jail sentence.

In his Instagram post, Teebillz expressed profound admiration for Diddy, highlighting him as a major influence in his life and commending his commitment to fatherhood.

He wrote, “I grew up wanting to be you and I achieved certain things in life because of you! I’m grateful for everything I learned from you! I’m teaching my kids not to idolize anyone but God.

I pray for the mental & emotional wellbeing of your children and may God forgive your soul… The best thing I learned from you is being a father regardless….”

Despite the sincerity of his message, Teebillz faced widespread criticism for his post.

In reaction to the backlash, Teebillz issued a follow-up statement. He clarified that witnessing his mentor’s downfall saddened him deeply. Additionally, he asserted that he would have taken decisive action if Cassie had been his daughter.
