Media entrepreneur Toyosi Etim-Effiong is set to showcase Nigeria prominently at the Essence Film Festival 2024, scheduled in New Orleans from July 5 to July 7, 2024.

This festival will feature a special Nollywood activation on July 5, marking a significant milestone in Nollywood’s journey toward international recognition.

Etim-Effiong, who is the founder and CEO of That Good Media, is orchestrating Nollywood’s third appearance at the festival through a dynamic collaboration.

This event aims to bring together esteemed Nollywood celebrities and influential Hollywood figures, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and experiences.

The panel, titled “Building Bridges: Collaborating with Nollywood for Global Success,” aims to underline the importance of international partnerships in elevating Nollywood on the world stage.

Panellists will discuss strategic alliances and the role of storytelling in fostering cultural exchanges and deepening global understanding.
