Nigeria’s darling housewife, Mrs Deborah Adebisi, popularly known as Mummy Zee, has stirred emotions among her fans, after she likened her famous status to a prison.

GWG.ng reports that Mummy Zee became famous after she won the approval of many Nigerians when she revealed how she dutifully woke up every morning to prepare her husband’s lunch, at 4.00 a.m. every day after learning that a female colleague offered to share lunch with him.

Her post triggered admiration from internet users which led to several gifts including accommodation, household equipment and ambassadorial deals that easily transformed Mummy Zee to Nigeria’s famous housewife.

However, just few days into her birthday, Mummy Zee took to her X account to tweet on the implications fame has cost her.

She wrote: “I believe God has a reason for this fame, I just wanted my family to be comfortable and for my husband to have the good life he deserves.

“But now, I have to be extra careful when I’m around friends and family, so my words or movements don’t get mistaken for pride.

“Fame is indeed a prison.”

Her post quickly stirred emotions, reflections, advises and prayers from netizens on X. See some reactions gathered by gwg.ng:
