Grammy Winner Tems Shares Her Criteria For Choosing A Partner (Video)

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has shared her expertise in selecting a partner.

During an appearance on the show “Chicken Shop Date” with Amelia, Tems explained her key criteria for a potential partner. She emphasized the importance of humor, intelligence, and height in her choice.

The Oscar-nominated artist confidently stated that she is quite adept at making these decisions, underscoring her clear preferences when it comes to choosing someone special.

“I have never had a bad date. I think I’m very good at picking men. Just make them your b*tch,” she said.

On her ideal man, she said, “Just intelligence, funny. I feel like funny people are intelligent. As far as you are intelligent, tall… I don’t really care about height but..”

Amelia inferred, “Okay, it sounds you do.”

Tems added, “My love language is physical touch. I don’t know if my love language is act of service because I’m always the one doing the servicing.”

Tems rose to international fame in 2020 through her collaboration with Wizkid on the hit song “Essence.” This success solidified her status as a beloved figure in the Nigerian music industry, where she has garnered numerous awards and accolades.

In February, Tems achieved a significant milestone by winning her first Grammy award. She secured the award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for her contribution to “Wait for U,” a 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.

Last year, Tems released the track “Me & U,” which she described as a piece she wrote while having a conversation with God. This song further showcased her unique artistry and deepened her connection with her fans.
