“Unmarried Cohabitation Linked to Higher Divorce Rates”- Nigerian Pastor Says (Video)
Renowned clergyman Pastor Emmanuel Iren has cited statistical evidence to support the notion that unmarried couples who live together are more likely to experience divorce.
During a podcast, “Surviving Lagos,” hosted by Susan Pwajok, Pastor Iren emphasized that scientific research is validating biblical principles.
He referenced recent studies indicating that cohabiting unmarried couples face a significantly higher likelihood of divorce. “God’s principles have been vindicated,” Pastor Iren stated. “For instance, statistics show that living with a man who is not your husband makes you twice as likely to experience divorce.”

By highlighting this correlation between cohabitation and divorce, Pastor Iren aims to encourage individuals to reevaluate their choices and consider the long-term implications of cohabitation before marriage.

@udeochusp: “Science//technology is helping the world to expose bad behaviour and cheaters. You can’t catch some people without technology. E.g. DNA TESTING is doing the work that no man would have been able to do humanly; little wonder it is dreaded like a plague by those doing wrong.”
@M_idris12: “You get tired of each other easily and because there’s no marriage involved, it’s easy to let go of the person. Married people do everything to make their marriage work until there’s no way out but In relationship, there’s an illusion of options so we let go easily.”
