Controversy As Otti Abolishes ‘State Of Origin’ Dichotomy In Abia

A controversy has been stirred on social media after Governor Alex Otti abolished the dichotomy between indigenes and non-indigenes in Abia State.

Otti added that his administration would not care where a resident of Abia comes from but would only be interested in the competence and what individuals can offer the state in service.

Nigerians quickly ran to their social media accounts to express their thoughts on the governor’s decision.

However, some of the reactions depicted suspicion/distrust while others were affirmative that the governor’s decision will favour Abians and Nigerians at large.
