Hajj: Nigerian Pilgrims Decry Poor Food Despite N8m Fee
A disturbing report has emerged from Saudi Arabia, where Nigerian pilgrims have expressed their dissatisfaction with the subpar food served to them, despite paying a hefty N8 million Hajj fee.
The complaint was shared by Babagana Digima, a Nigerian netizen, on his Facebook page, along with a photo of the alleged meal.
According to Digima, the unappetizing breakfast was served to the pilgrims on May 28th, 2024, raising concerns about the management of the Hajj program. Furthermore, the pilgrims have not received the promised $300 stipend from the authorities, leaving some to resort to begging for money to purchase food.
