BREAKING: Chelsea Set To Bring Nigerian Blood As Top Striker

Chelsea Adarabioyo

Chelsea is on the verge of securing a deal to sign Nigerian born English striker, Tosin Adarabioyo with negotiations now in their final stages.

The news, revealed by Fabrizio Romano on his X page, marks Chelsea as the clear favorites to acquire the talented center-back. Should all go according to plan, Adarabioyo would become the first signing under Chelsea’s new manager, Enzo Maresca.

Adarabioyo, who will become a free agent at the end of June, had previously been linked with several top clubs. Newcastle United, once the frontrunners in the race to sign him, have been working on a deal for weeks.

However, Chelsea’s recent push has put them ahead in the competition.

Despite Newcastle’s persistent efforts, the Blues now appear poised to secure the player’s signature.

Manchester United also showed interest in Adarabioyo but did not submit an offer for the player. This left the battle primarily between Newcastle and Chelsea, with the latter gaining a decisive edge.

Adarabioyo, who has spent the last four seasons with Fulham, made 22 appearances this season and scored twice. His departure from Fulham at the end of next month will end a significant chapter in his career, paving the way for his next challenge at Stamford Bridge.

The imminent signing of Adarabioyo by Chelsea underscores the club’s intent to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. With the deal nearly sealed, Chelsea fans can look forward to seeing the talented defender donning the blue jersey soon.
