Leon Balogun Signs Contract Extension With Rangers, Aiming For More Titles

Scottish Premiership giants Rangers have announced that Leon Balogun has signed a contract extension, securing his stay with the club through the 2024/25 season.

Balogun returned to Rangers for a second stint last summer, having initially joined the team in 2020. The experienced center-back made a significant impact during his first tenure at Ibrox.

He played a pivotal role in Rangers’ title-winning season in 2020/21 and was instrumental in their Scottish Cup victory in 2021/22.

Balogun’s return and subsequent contract extension underscore his importance to the team and his successful contributions in Glasgow.

“I am very, very happy and privileged to be able to extend my contract at a club like Rangers. I have said in the past I wish I could’ve been here sooner in my career because it fuels the fire to succeed all the time.
