Outrage As Peter Obi’s Former Campaign Manager Compares Tinubu To Jesus (Video)
In a provocative statement that has sparked intense debate, Doyin Okupe, the former Director-General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign, has likened President Bola Tinubu to Jesus Christ, suggesting that the President voluntarily came to “save” Nigeria from its economic woes and disasters.
In a video circulating on social media, Doyin Okupe made this assertion during an interactive program with Channels TV, claiming that Tinubu was in “heaven” when God was seeking a savior for Nigeria and that Tinubu showed interest in the mission.
Doyin Okupe said, “Tinubu is like Jesus Christ who volunteered to come to the world to save mankind (Nigeria).” He further elaborated that Tinubu’s decision to lead the country was a selfless act, driven by a desire to rescue Nigeria from its challenges.
