‘Anyone Who Tries Me Will Collect’: Davido Issues Stern Warning to Haters

Nigerian music superstar Davido has issued a stern warning to anyone who dares to mistreat him this year. In a tweet, he declared that anyone who tries to harm or disrespect him will face the consequences.

“Anybody wey do me bad go collect this year one by one…just dey watch…e don start already,” he wrote.

GWG.ng reports that this comes after a recent online feud with fellow artiste Wizkid, which sparked a heated debate among fans and celebrities alike. The two music giants traded words and shared embarrassing videos of each other, with Davido accusing Wizkid of being a “sick man” and a “woman beater.”

Several celebrities weighed in on the beef, with some chastising Wizkid for starting the feud. Cynthia Morgan expressed surprise that Davido didn’t laugh off Wizkid’s tweet, while Paulo Okoye urged them to stop, calling their actions “shameful.” Toyin Lawani warned those joining the beef to beware of looking like fools.

Meanwhile, music producer Samklef and Big Brother Naija winner Phyna showed support for Wizkid, with Samklef crediting him for paving the way for younger artists and Phyna declaring her love for him. Burna Boy, on the other hand, chose to stay out of the drama, saying he was minding his business and didn’t want to get involved.
