Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike Benjamin has bravely shared her experiences with postpartum struggles, revealing that her family thought she was mentally unstable after giving birth.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Mums Next Door, Maria confessed that she became overly protective of her baby, refusing to let anyone else hold him, which led to frustration and irritation among her loved ones. “I didn’t let anyone carry my baby, and at some point, I was irritating everyone. My family thought I was mentally not okay,” she shared.
