Tinubu’s Eagle Square Fall: ‘I Do Hope All Is Well,’ Atiku Mocks

2019 and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has expressed concern over the fall of President Bola Tinubu at the Eagles Square but ending with a taunt.

GWG.ng reports that President Bola Tinubu fell inside a parade vehicle as he was about review the parade at the 2024 Democracy Day parade at the Eagles Square, Abuja on Wednesday.

GWG.ng reports that as the president who looked fit as he approached the open carriage vehicle missed his steps as he climbed and fell inside the vehicle.

He was quickly rushed up by his Aide-de-Camp and lifted up. He immediately took his position with apparent no other injuries and proceeded with the parade.

Expressing his concern over the fall, Atiku in a post on X wrote:

I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him. -AA

GWG.ng reports that Atiku proceeded to upload the picture of Tinubu falling, a decision that some X users see as a mockery of the president.

An explanation of the fall by presidential aide Dada Olusegun and some other supporters of Tinubu did not come with the video of the fall unlike the Atiku post.
