Emeka Ugwuonye, the legal advocate for May Edochie, has slammed Yvonne Jegede for defending Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife, citing his failure to provide financial support for his children.

GWG.ng reports that in a recent interview, Yvonne Jegede sparked controversy by defending Yul Edochie’s actions and criticizing those who praised Regina Daniels but at the same time turned around to criticise Yul over his second marriage.

However, she later apologized for her insensitive comments, acknowledging May Edochie’s pain and hardship during her marriage.

Emeka Ugwuonye, founder of DPA Organization, has now spoken out against Yvonne Jegede’s initial defense of Yul Edochie, revealing that the actor does not pay child support or school fees for his three children with May Edochie. Instead, May is shouldering the financial burden alone.

Ugwuonye questioned Yul Edochie’s decision to enter polygamy, knowing he couldn’t provide for all his children. “May is taking care of all the children; she is paying their school fees. Yul isn’t supporting his children as we speak. Yul told his daughter that her mother is making more money than him. You are going into polygamy; you can’t take care of all your children. So please don’t compare the two,” he said.

Angela Okorie has also joined in criticizing Yvonne Jegede, calling her a “failed actress with no pedigree” for her insensitive comments. Yvonne’s defense of Yul Edochie has sparked a heated debate online, with many slamming her for ignoring May Edochie’s pain and hardship.

The controversy surrounding Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife, Judy Austin, has been ongoing, with many criticizing his actions and treatment of his first wife, May Edochie. Despite the backlash, Yul Edochie remains unbothered, recently stating that he is excelling and doing better than most of his colleagues, and that hateful comments do not affect him.
