Three Lebanese, Top Business Executive Missing As Kidnappers Run Riot In Lagos

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped the Managing Director of Fouani Company, the representative for LG and Hisense, along with three Lebanese nationals while they were traveling by boat in Lagos.

The unfortunate incident it was gathered, occured on Friday evening.

The victims were reportedly abducted near Falomo Bridge during their journey from Apapa to Victoria Island.

A source who doesn’t want to be quoted revealed that the gunmen have demanded a ransom for their release.

“The Managing Director of Fouani Company and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge on Friday evening while traveling by boat from Apapa to Victoria Island. The kidnappers have asked for $1.5 million,” the source disclosed.

While confirming the incident, the spokesman of Lagos State police command, Benjamin Hundeyin said, “Yes, it is true. We received the report and are investigating it. I cannot provide more details at this time.”

However, when pressed for further information, including the names of those abducted, by the kidnappers, the Lagos police spokesman maintained, “I am not obliged to disclose the names, or specifics of when, where, and how it happened at this moment, but we are looking into it.”
