Manhunt For Delta Father Who Killed Daughter For Money Rituals

A man named Sankey Ovemureye reportedly killed his six-year-old daughter, Abigail Stanley, in a shocking incident involving money rituals at Uviama New Layout, Agbarho community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to information gathered, the suspect escaped after brutally smashing the head of the little girl on June 15th.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the tragic development in a statement.

He revealed that the child’s lifeless body, which had suffered severe head trauma, was recovered by the Divisional Police Officer of Agbarho.

“The corpse was recovered and deposited at the mortuary. The father who is the principal suspect is currently at large.”

Meanwhile, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, has initiated a search operation to apprehend the suspect who fled the scene.

Assuring the public, CP Olufemi stated that the perpetrator will be apprehended and held accountable for the crime.
