Also, he appreciated all members for their commitment and steadfastness in promoting the image of the Association and the welfare of members in Ondo State. He enjoined them not to relent in their efforts at making the association grow.

The JONAPWD chairman, Mr. Abiodun thanked every member of the Association and enlightened them about the consensus so that the already existing structure of their cluster group would be able to compete favourably with all other chapters across the country, and they will not just be in isolation. He encouraged members of the association to always cooperate with their leadership so that they can be able to move forward.

In his remarks, the JONAPWD secretary, Mr. Sola Idowu thanked God for making it possible for everyone to have such a blessed day where a unique decision to move the association forward was taken. That people should not be confused about the insinuation of having a new body in the State, but that the already existing Albinism structure is just connecting to their national umbrella for the purpose of having proper administration in advocating for the welfare of their members across the country. He also explained the gains of having connections with the apex body which among other things includes the immediate welfare of members especially those who are currently having cancer-related illness and many other projects to stop discrimination against people with Albinism generally.

After the various remarks from invited stakeholders, the JONAPWD chairman, Mr. Oluwasegun Abiodun read out the names of the executive officers of the association and thereafter officially proclaimed the existence of the Albinism Association of Nigeria, AAN, Ondo State chapter.
