Peter Obi Cheers On As Nigerian Chef Grace Breaks World Cooking Record

The 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate and former Anambra State Governor, Mr Peter Obi, showed his support for young entrepreneurs and experts by attending Chef Grace Nwaokobia’s Guinness World Record attempt for the longest home kitchen cooking marathon by an individual.
Chef Grace surpassed the previous record of 68 hours and 30 minutes, extending it to an impressive 86 hours and counting, an achievement Obi said he was proud to identify with. Peter Obi arrived at the scene at 6:40 am, just as she broke the record.
What’s more remarkable is that the food cooked during this marathon has been largely donated to charity. On Saturday, the prepared meals were supplied to The Little Saints Orphanage in Ilupeju, aligning with Chef Grace’s commitment to giving back.
“Interestingly, the food cooked has largely gone to charity. I gathered that on Saturday, the food made was supplied to The Little Saints Orphanage in Ilupeju, in line with Chef Grace’s dedication to charity.”- Peter Obi statement read in part.
Peter Obi praised the achievement of Chef Grace emphasizing the need to create a supportive environment in Nigeria that empowers young people to be productive and unlock their entrepreneurial potential. He believes this is crucial in building a new Nigeria, which he considers highly possible.
