Portable Accuses Davido Of Giving Him Only A Shoe In America

Nigerian singer Portable has reignited his feud with Davido, accusing the superstar of using him for clout without fair compensation. In a recent video, Portable claimed that Davido only offered him a shoe and no monetary compensation or feature on a song during the visit.

“Davido, you ripped me off! You saw I was in America, invited me, and gave me a shoe. No money, no feature. You used me to trend,” Portable alleged.

GWG.ng reports that this development comes after Portable blasted Davido last week for allegedly giving him bad advice regarding record label deals. Portable claimed that despite being signed to Sony Music, Davido advised him against signing with the label and instead suggested he sign with Empire and collect an advance.

The controversy escalated when Portable accused Zlatan Ibile of attempting to create tension between him and Davido. He claimed that Zlatan warned Davido to “behave himself” around Portable during their time together in Atlanta.

Following the feud, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram, which Portable took as a slight. He threatened that if Wizkid, Davido’s rival, had featured him in a song, he wouldn’t be begging Davido.
