CAF Postpones 2024 African Women’s Cup Of Nations To 2025
By Benjamin Abioye
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations to 2025.
Originally set to be held in Morocco from July 5 to July 26, the tournament will now take place the following year.
This decision was made during CAF’s executive committee meeting on Friday, marking the first time the WAFCON will occur outside its planned year.
Twelve teams, including Nigeria’s Super Falcons and the reigning champions, South Africa’s Banyana Banyana, have already secured their spots in the biennial event.
