Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs has completely wiped his Instagram account amid his ongoing legal troubles and sexual assault lawsuits.

The 54-year-old took down all photos and videos on his account, including a clip he shared last month apologising to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The rapper released the video after CCTV footage from 2016 surfaced of him allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend.

Diddy’s Instagram bio still reads: “Listen to The Love Album: Off the Grid” and has a link to the record. However, there is nothing else on the account. Sources have claimed the decision to clear Diddy’s Instagram was not “strategic” or a swipe against Cassie.

Speaking to TMZ, they said Diddy cleared his page so he could simply “reset” his posts. This is something he has previously done in the past.

Diddy’s apology video came after CNN obtained footage from 2016 which showed Diddy allegedly shoving, kicking, and throwing objects at his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a California hotel hallway. In response, Diddy said: “I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses.

“So difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f***ed up. I mean I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses, my behaviour in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, disgusting.”

He continued: “I was disgusted then when I did it, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. Asked God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I am committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness, I’m truly sorry.”

Cassie’s lawyer Meredith Firetog slammed the video and called it “disingenuous”. He said: “‘Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.”

She continued: “That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.'”

Cassie previously filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023. At the time, she alleged that Diddy “raped her and perpetually abused her for years,” according to court documents obtained by The Mirror.

The case settled the following day, with Diddy’s lawyer issuing a statement shared with The Mirror: “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” and added: “Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims.”
