Kemi Olunloyo Dares Davido To Sue

Controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging Davido to sue her for defamation or issue a cease-and-desist order.

This comes after the lawyer recently sent a cease and desist notice to singer Dammy Krane for calling out Davido ahead of his wedding.

Olunloyo pointed out that despite her numerous investigative reports on Davido, she hasn’t received any legal notices, implying that her stories are factual and not defamatory. She stated, “They are true stories…Learn how journalism is practiced. They are also stories a newsmaker doesn’t like the world to hear. A journalist calls that an exposé.”

This development follows Olunloyo’s recent warning to Davido and his fiancée Chioma not to elaborate on their wedding, advising them to keep their private life private. She believes that the wedding should have been a private event, and publicizing it could attract unwanted attention.

By daring Davido’s lawyer to take legal action, Olunloyo is standing by her investigative reports and asserting her right to freedom of speech and press.
