Afrobeats sensation Wizkid has sparked controversy with a cryptic message amidst the buzz surrounding Davido’s upcoming wedding to Chioma Rowland.

Recall that Davido confirmed their wedding date for June 25 in Lagos, despite recent rumors of infidelity. Following Davido’s release of pre-wedding photos with Chioma on Sunday evening, Wizkid caused a stir by tweeting “Lol” shortly afterward, prompting speculation among fans.

The Starboy continued to fuel speculation on Monday morning with a social media post that some interpreted as a veiled jab at his rival Davido, stating, “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.” on his X handle.

His post elicited mixed reactions, with many insinuating that he was shading Davido’s soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been very understanding with the singer despite cheating allegations.

Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, stated that she and the singer resumed their romantic relationship between 2020 and 2022, which overlapped with the period when Davido was also in a relationship with his fiancée, Chioma.
