CHIVIDO: Basketmouth Slams Wizkid, Says His Social Media Drama Of No Relevance

Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has made a pointed remark about singer Wizkid while discussing the overwhelming social media buzz surrounding Davido’s wedding.

Basketmouth mentioned that promoting his show at this time would be challenging due to the widespread attention on Davido’s wedding festivities.

 He observed that the wedding of Davido and Chioma has dominated social media, making it difficult for other events to gain traction.

He further noted that even Wizkid’s  social media controversies failed to capture much interest, as the spotlight has been firmly fixed on Davido and Chioma’s nuptials.

On his Instagram account, Basketmouth wrote: “Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space.

“Except you want us to start using Chivido2024 to promote the show. Which I don’t think will work.

“Because, even Wizkid wey throw shade, nobody send am.”

GWG.ng reports that Wizkid sparked a frenzy when he tweeted “Lol [lots of laughs]” shortly after Davido shared his pre-wedding photos with Chioma.

Adding to the buzz, Wizkid posted another tweet expressing that he was praying for every understanding woman.

Some fans interpreted this as a dig at Chioma, who has been supportive of Davido despite numerous infidelity allegations.

However, Wizkid later clarified that his tweets were being misinterpreted, denying any insinuations directed at Chioma.
