Former Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie has officially graduated from golf school after pursuing a career in the sport.

Known for his contributions to Nigerian football, Osaze played for the Super Eagles, scoring 11 goals in 62 appearances.

After retiring from football in 2019, Osaze initially planned to return to school to earn a degree and coaching badges.

However, he decided to switch career paths and chose to focus on golf instead of a career in football management.

Taking a significant step into his new career, Osaze has now graduated from the Professional Golfers Association school.

A circulating video on X showed the former football star receiving his certificate. In the video, he expressed his joy at completing the program and achieving success in a sport he has always loved.

Osaze said, “It’s motivating itself to be around people who have the drive to get the GPA badge on their chest.

“It’s on its own motivating because they will learn so many life skills that at my age would still be beneficial.”

After graduating, Osaze might consider a career in golf instruction or aim to become a professional golfer.
