To Avoid EFCC Quiz, Celebrities Spray Dollars At Davido’s Wedding (Video)

A viral video capturing celebrities spraying dollars instead of Naira at the grand wedding of favourite Nigerian singer, Davido Adeleke to his long time partner, Chioma Roland has emerged.

The emergence of the video follows the position of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against naira abuse and mutilation.

Recall that the EFCC came after controversial cross dresser, Bobrisky, who is currently serving a 6-month-jail term over naira abuse at an event.

GWG.ng reports that one of the closest friends of Davido, Cubana Chief Priest arrived the wedding after leaving a Lagos court house where he reached an out of court settlement with the EFCC over a naira abuse case levelled against him.

The viral video of celebrities spraying dollars at the Davido wedding reception was apparently made to circumvent EFCC interrogation.

GWG.ng recalls that just after a federal high court in Lagos State has struck out the Naira abuse case against celebrity bartender, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, on Tuesday, the EFCC in a statement on its official X handle reiterated its commitment to fighting against naira abuse and mutilation.

“The Special Task Force against Naira Abuse and Dollarisation of the economy is still in place.

“The Commission remains undeterred in the pursuit of its lawful mandate and the court’s ruling on Cubana Chief Priest should stimulate enhanced commitment of Nigerians to defend the sanctity of the Naira and refrain from any infraction against the nation’s legal tender.”
