Video Of Mr Ibu’s Burial Emerges Online

A video capturing scenes from the ongoing burial of late John Okafor, popularly called, Mr Ibu has emerged online.

The video captured able young men clad in corporate black uniform, carrying Mr Ibu’s casket on their shoulders to the venue, while they danced in unison, to musical instruments playing in the background.

According to BBC pidgin, the burial event is currently happening at the hometown of Mr Ibu, Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

A statement released by Mr Ibu’s brother, Sunday Okafor reads, “The Okafor family at Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West LGA for Enugu State wish to honour the loving memory of our hero and legend, who even in death left a legacy of love, laughter and liveliness.”

GWG.ng recalls that Mr Ibu died on March 2,  after his  battle with a “strange and dangerous illness” as he described at the time.
