A prominent Nigerian doctor, Dr. Olawale Ogunlana, has said that what hurt the most about the suicide death of Former Konga CEO, Nick Imudia, is that it occurred in the month of June which happens to be ‘Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month’.
Dr. Ogunlana started this in a post on his Official X handle on Thursday, while expressing grief over Imudia’s death.
In his words, “What hurts me the most about the death of Nick Imudia the Former Konga CEO is that the month of June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.”
He noted that the former CEO’s death is a reminder for men to take their mental health seriously.
“The tragic death of the Former CEO of Konga is another stark reminder that Men being more at risk of suicide need now, more than ever, safe spaces to speak, be heard, and to be listened to. It takes more strength to speak out than keep things in.”
