Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has shared a beautiful prayer for her new marriage, amidst controversy sparked by a blogger’s claims about her husband. The actress, who got traditionally married on Thursday, took to Instagram to share stunning photos and express her gratitude to God for her dream man.

“Yesterday, I married my dream man!!! The man with the kindest heart… A true king!! My gift from God. Thank you for making me the happiest wife !!! Our love is protected by the God of the angel armies .. our king Jesus… thank you all for the love, my insta family!!! My odogwu and I are sooo grateful,” she wrote.

GWG.ng reports that this comes after blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus made shocking claims about Sharon’s husband, Ugo Nwoke, stating he was a billionaire from Imo State and Sharon was his fourth wife. However, Stella later apologized for her claims, admitting her headlines were wrong and the timing was poor. Despite deleting the apology post, the controversy lingers.

Sharon’s friend, Bisola Aiyeola, had earlier slammed the blog for spreading lies, urging them to “pack more lies” as they wouldn’t dampen Sharon’s peace. Sharon announced her engagement and marriage in March, sharing photos of her engagement and civil wedding. Last week, she held a bridal shower attended by Nollywood friends like Nancy Isime and Beverly Osu.

In an interview with Bella Naija, Sharon revealed she met her husband through her sister during a difficult heartbreak. Initially uninterested, she grew to like him after conversations and is now grateful for their love.
