Victor Osimhen Eyes Napoli Exit: Premier League Or Saudi Pro League Bound?

The Super Eagles’ star striker and former African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen, is reportedly set to leave Napoli this summer, as indicated by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Romano tweeted that Osimhen, aged 25, is seeking a new challenge, with the Premier League emerging as his favored destination.

“After a quiet June, Napoli expect proposals to arrive for Osimhen as he could be on the move; the release clause is around €120m,” Romano stated.

Despite considerable interest from Premier League clubs, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) of Ligue 1 have also shown interest in the Nigerian forward, aiming to reshape their attacking lineup following Kylian Mbappe’s departure.

However, Napoli is awaiting firm offers before making decisions on Osimhen’s future.

In an unexpected development, reports suggest that Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli is prepared to meet Napoli’s €120m release clause for Osimhen.

Despite ongoing Premier League interest, Al Ahli appears poised to secure Osimhen’s services with an appealing contract and the promise of a central role in their pursuit of the Saudi Pro League title.
