Nigerians Drag Man Who Attacked Joke Silva Over Support For Tinubu
A Nigerian man simply called, Christopher, and identified as @Chris Pencil99 on X has faced backlashes after berating the wife of Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, for her political choice.
Christopher, who expressed his displeasure over the veteran actress on the same day her husband was rumoured to be dead tweeted, “I lost my Respect and Likeness for her, the moment she decided to stand with Tinubu… she put Tribe first before the life of every Nigerian.”

Christopher’s statement did not meet with excitement from many Nigerians who quickly took to defend Joke Silva.
See some reactions below:
@Joguns008 snapped, “Keep your respect; don’t think she needs it from you.”
Christopher retorted, “Suffer don’t know Tribe, Colour or language… illiteracy is a disease you need a cure.”
@musketeers 6 said, “I looked at your name and prayed silently that you are not Igbo just like me.
“Wisdom is not by how well you can speak rather by how well you can maintain silence when it is important/ required”. If you understand the quote above then you should feel sorry for yourself.”
@Heinzoflagos said, “You lost respect for someone over her choice and you think you have the right to impose your choice on someone because it is your choice? Wisdom isn’t for everyone.”
@olumideosasona7 questioned, ” In what way has she bn deriving any form of benefit from your “Respect and Likeness” before?”
@trukyng said, “Your conclusion is uninformed. Not everything is about tribe.”
@tunssola said, “The worth of your respect can’t be equal to recognising the choice of anyone’s desire to be associated with whoever they prefer.”
@OmowaleOlunlade questioned, “Because she didn’t support ur obi? Only if u know what respect actually means.”
@Amebor3 said, “I was about to insult you, then I realised u are a graphic designer That is how you sound. Yiu see we need to learn to tolerate each other’s choices, we can not all sleep and put our head on one side, people have the right to make their choices even if those choices are foolish.”
