Tragedy Strikes as Deputy Governor Loses Wife

The Niger State Government has been thrown into mourning following the sudden passing of Hajiya Zainab Garba, the wife of Deputy Governor Yakubu Garba. According to sources within the Government House, she died on Tuesday at a hospital in Minna after a brief illness.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed his deep sadness and condolences over the loss, describing it as a great blow to the state. In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor prayed for Allah to grant her a place in Aljanatul Firdaus and give her husband the strength to bear the loss.
