Dele Momodu Gives New Insights On Davido, Sophia Momodu Child Custody Battle

Media mogul Aare Dele Momodu has spoken out about the ongoing custody drama between his niece, Sophia Momodu, and her baby daddy, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, over their nine-year-old daughter, Imade Adeleke.

In a candid opinion piece, Dele Momodu expressed shock at Davido’s decision to file for joint custody, especially since they had recently spoken and he had not mentioned any issues with Sophia. He urged both parties to be mindful of their social media statements to avoid causing emotional distress to their daughter.

Dele Momodu revealed that Sophia has been responsible for their daughter’s welfare and hinted that the allegations made by his niece were facts. He also disclosed his efforts to resolve the issue by involving Davido’s father and uncle, Deji Adeleke and Ademola Adeleke, respectively, who provided solutions according to their capabilities.

He emphasized the importance of camaraderie between the parents, stating that their daughter’s well-being should be the priority. Dele Momodu encouraged both parties to engage in the alternative dispute resolution process, which the court has referred the case to, and avoid harmful statements on social media.
