Dammy Krane Drops Davido Feud After Kwam 1’s Intervention

Dammy Krane has responded to calls from Fuji singer Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam 1, to end his online feud with Davido.

The conflict between Krane and Davido began last year when Krane accused Davido of owing him money for his songwriting contributions. Krane also alleged that Davido “ruined” his record label deal with Sony Music.

In response to these accusations, Davido called Krane “ungrateful” and stated that he “never got paid” for their music collaborations. Davido also claimed that he “housed and fed” Krane when he was “homeless.”

Despite these statements, Krane continued to attack Davido on social media, even accusing him of involvement in the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike. Umeike reportedly died from alcohol poisoning in October 2017 after a birthday party in Lekki, Lagos state.

Davido has consistently denied any involvement in Umeike’s death and has threatened to sue Krane for defamation and cyberbullying. However, Krane has persisted in calling out Davido despite the legal threats.

During a live performance on his musical tour in the United States, Kwam 1 called for peace between the two singers. “I want to send you on an errand. Dammy Krane there should not be any fight again,” Ayinde sang. “Whatever it is that is there should be resolved. I have stamped it. I must not hear anything about it again. You will not bury your child. You guys will not also die in my eyes. Your prayers will be answered. I have also told David to forgive all issues.”

In reaction to Kwam 1’s appeal, Krane stated that he would no longer call out Davido over Umeike’s death. However, he insisted that Davido should pay him for his songwriting services.

“SO Davido SETUP A MEETING WIT MY MUM IN YANKEE LOL. I UNDERSTAND ALL,” he wrote on X. “I’LL LEAVE D TAGBO MATTER TO GOD BECAUSE OF GOOD PEOPLE LIKE FAMILY, K1 DE ULTIMATE.. BUT DAVID PAY FOR THE SONG I WROTE & ROYALTIES. PS: EVIL PREVAIL WHEN GOOD PEOPLE REFUSE TO TALK – INDUSTRY LANDLORD.”
