Nigerian Lady Bags Nursing Degree from UK University After Initial Setback (Video)

In an inspiring tale of perseverance and determination, Obot Ifiokobong Patrick, a Nigerian lady, has achieved her dream of becoming a nurse, despite an initial setback that could have derailed her ambitions.

Ifiokobong took to TikTok to celebrate her remarkable achievement, sharing a heartwarming story of how she overcame adversity to earn a nursing degree from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

Her journey began in 2019 when she secured a direct entry admission to study nursing at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). However, her dreams were momentarily shattered when her department was changed due to overadmission issues that couldn’t be resolved.

Undeterred, Ifiokobong refused to give up on her passion for nursing. She applied to the University of Derby, passed the required exams, and gained admission. Through hard work and dedication, she successfully completed her studies in May 2024, earning her well-deserved degree.
