Amid Arrest Drama, Pro-Tinubu Nollywood Allies Fight Back

The Pro-Tinubu camp in Nigeria’s entertainment sector is rebuffing perceived acts of intimidation against the president’s supporters with comedian Seyi Law lambasting a twitter user, Serah Ibrahim over new attacks on Toyin Abraham.

Seyi Law who was a canvasser for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2023 election while leading the charge threatened an X user, Serah Ibrahim over a comment she made against Ms Abraham.

The exchange came up after Toyin Abraham on Tuesday allegedly instigated the arrest of a woman, her daughter and her son’s friend over cyber bullying and alleged defamation.

Reacting to the development, Serah Ibrahim branded the actress as ‘shameless’ and went further to condemn her movies.

She tweeted, “Toyin Abraham @toyin_abraham1 you’re EXTREMELY shameless. When you’re done bullying people that are not your mates, come outside and tell us the ideas Tinubu told you.

“You think your 0/10 tacky movies will save you when the country’s economy collapses due to terrible policies? YOU ARE SHAMELESS. Come and put body✌🏻.”

Angered by Serah Ibrahim’s statement, Seyi Law reacted via his X handle, “If Dem Born You Well, Defame Her. Just Try It.”

GWG.ng reports that since early June, the actress has been in constant conflicts with X users, after failing to answer an online interview question bordering on her discussions with President Bola Tinubu during his presidential campaign and her current assessment of his government.

Recall that Toyin was one of the prime Nollywood stars who took time and every opportunity to canvass for the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president.
