Gov Eno Gushes On Predecessor’s Birthday As He Brings Home New Plane

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has hailed his immediate predecessor, Mr Udom Emmanuel on his 58th birthday noting with pride the imprints and positive impression the former governor made on the state and its present leaders.

GWG.ng reports that Governor Eno said the present leadership was riding on the momentum of the impact of Mr Emmanuel in the quest towards taking Akwa Ibom to greater heights.

Mr Eno who crafted the birthday message from Maastricht, The Netherlands, said he was in the European country to sign the agreement on a new Air Bus for the state’s airline, Ibom Air which was conceived by the Udom Emmanuel administration.

GWG.ng reports that the Gov Eno administration is expanding Ibom Air with expansion of its fleets towards new frontiers as a West African regional airline.

Hailing Mr Udom Emmanuel on his birthday, Governor Eno said:

Your Excellency as you celebrate another year in your life of impact today, on behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, friends, and associates to wish you a Happy Birthday.

The words of Quincy Adams, have found deep expression and resonance in the lives of those of us whom you have inspired to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.

Today, as you mark your Birthday, we are signing in Maastricht, The Netherlands, the papers to bring  in the second of the ten AirbusA220-300 series for our Ibom Air, an audacious project you started which we are now using our Finisher’s anointing to expand.

As you celebrate your birthday today, we will continue to be inspired by your selfless leadership, and strive to do more four State, dream more, become more and in the process, get our people to collectively Arise and shine.

GWG.ng reports that besides Governor Eno that several other political actors have been felicitating with Udom Emmanuel on his birthday.
