Toyin Abraham Claps Back At Her Critics Over Detention Of ‘Cyberbully’ (Video)
By Benjamin Abioye
Actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has strongly defended herself against online bullying after facing criticism from many and comedian Adebowale Adedayo, also known as Mr Macaroni.
In response to the harassment she faced, Toyin took to Instagram live to clarify her stance.
“I won’t unfairly arrest anyone’s mother,” Toyin emphasized during her live session, addressing backlash over her handling of a social media user who allegedly insulted her child. She insisted she only sought justice within the law, stating firmly, “I haven’t done anything wrong.”
Earlier, Mr Macaroni raised concerns about police using their powers wrongly in cases of defamation, urging people to seek legal help instead of making illegal arrests. His comments sparked debate on social media, prompting Toyin to directly respond.
“You can’t accuse me wrongly and expect me to stay quiet,” Toyin argued, defending herself against claims of overstepping and reiterating her stand against online bullying.
Toyin has also faced criticism for supporting the president during his campaign. She denied taking money from APC and vowed to fight against criticism, even if it meant facing severe consequences.
Her defense shows the challenges of dealing with online conflicts responsibly, sparking conversations about the right and wrong ways to tackle online harassment in today’s digital world.
