Daddy Freeze To Pay Tithe As Fine For Adultery, Twitter User Mocks

Media personality Daddy Freeze is facing criticism for boasting about his expensive watches on social media, despite being ordered to pay a N5 million fine for committing adultery.

In 2021, a High Court in Port Harcourt ruled that Daddy Freeze must pay the fine to Paul Odekina, whose wife at that time Benedicta Elechi was involved in the act of adultery with the media personality.

Despite appealing the decision, the court dismissed his appeal in June 2024, ordering him to pay the fine.

In response, Daddy Freeze took to Instagram Live to claim that his watches alone are worth over N100 million, implying that the fine for adultery was insignificant to him. However, many netizens have slammed him for bragging about his wealth amidst the controversy.
