Controversial singer Portable has surprisingly praised Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun after receiving N2 million as compensation for his earlier criticism over a bad portion of a road that nearly damaged his car.
Earlier, Portable had called out Governor Abiodun after his Range Rover fell into a ditch on a bad road in Sango-Ota, nearly claiming his life. He had demanded that the governor fix the roads or step down, even suggesting that Yayi would be a better candidate to replace him.
However, in a dramatic turnaround, Portable visited the Atan-Lusada-Agabara road project and praised the government’s efforts, confirming that the governor had fulfilled his promise to fix the roads.

Netizens have slammed Portable for his apparent hypocrisy, accusing him of accepting a bribe to silence his criticism. Despite the backlash, Portable’s latest video shows him commending the government’s work on the roads, leaving many to wonder if the N2 million compensation played a role in his sudden change of heart.
