Biden Wishes Trump Well Suspends Active Campaign (Video)

President Joe Biden has flatly condemned the assassination attempt directed against his predecessor and 2024 presidential election rival, Former President Donald Trump.

Biden expressed relief that Trump was safe and doing well, and extended his prayers to the former president, his family, and sympathies to those who survived the assassination plot.

GWG.ng reports that as a matter of goodwill, Biden has pulled down campaign adverts from the battleground states and is now making plans to return to Washinton DC instead of forging ahead with his campaign.

“The idea of political violence or any violence in America is simply unheard of,” President Biden said in a statement. “There’s no place for this kind of violence in our country. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.”

Biden emphasized the importance of peaceful gatherings, stating that Trump’s rally should have been able to take place without incident. He also expressed gratitude to the Secret Service for ensuring Trump’s safety.

When asked if he believed the incident was an assassination attempt, Biden declined to speculate, saying he would wait for more facts before commenting further.

The Secret Service confirmed that Trump is safe, and the campaign reported that he is “fine.” Unfortunately, a rally attendee and the suspected shooter lost their lives in the incident.
