”Turning Down 16 BTC In 2014 Was My Most Crazy Action” – Craze Clown
Nigerian comedian and content creator, Craze Clown, has shared his greatest regret in life.
In a conversation with Legit.ng, he disclosed that in 2014, he turned down a payment of about 16 Bitcoin (BTC).
Craze Clown recounted that he was offered 16 BTC for his work during his UK tour but chose to accept only 5 BTC, which he later sold for $600. Reflecting on the significant appreciation in Bitcoin’s value over the years, he expressed deep regret for not holding onto the cryptocurrency. He considers this decision his greatest regret.
He said:
“One piece of advice I would give myself would have been to invest in Bitcoin. Let me tell you a story I have never shared in public before. In 2014 when I did my UK tour, I was paid in Bitcoin. They gave me 16 BTC, but I turned it down and collected just 5. I returned the rest. The following week, I sold the 5 units I had for $600. That is my greatest regret in life.”
Additionally, Craze Clown revealed his most frequently used phone app, which is surprisingly his bank app. He highlighted its social aspect, particularly when it comes with a debit alert.
He said:
“My bank app is my most used app. Isn’t it a form of social media? Don’t we socialize there? That’s the biggest social media in the world, especially when it comes with a debit alert.”
